Mobility matters to us, ideally in an environmentally friendly form. Through the JobRad programme our employees can lease bicycles and at the same time use the company’s own secure bicycle parking. Exercise in the fresh air is good for the climate and for your health. On the subject of health: with an annual health budget of 600 euros and regular physiotherapy sessions, we actively support our team in staying fit and well. Check-ups are part of the extended offering too, to promote long-term health.

Regular company parties, sporting activities and joint initiatives strengthen the sense of togetherness and make team spirit tangible. One particular highlight is the annual United Teams Cup, a football tournament that stands for sporting commitment and solidarity. This year it took us to Greece, where our Schroeder United Team brought the trophy home to Hamburg. The matches with colleagues from Jütro Feinkost, Jütro Tiefkühlkost and host Elbak offered sporting challenges and the chance to grow as a team. We used the time to explore the region and to gather impressions behind the scenes at the Elbak factory, an experience that stayed with us for a long time.
